On Tuesday, August 9, 2022. The AF3 team held an online meeting to draft AF3 and BRGM’s Action Plan related to the Acceleration of the Mangrove and Peat Rehabilitation in 2024. The action plan that is being designed, starts from the preparation stage, workshop, community and stakeholder involvement, up to the final report with a lot of studies and concrete action plans such as carbon calculations, making APO and Canal Blocking, etc. AF3 is currently discussing to determine the study area that has a Peat Area or Mangrove Area, as well as a Mangrove-Peat Area in one landscape in Indonesia. AF3 also plans to collaborate with related stakeholders in this action plan. The draft of action plan will continue to be finalized and consulted with relevant parties in order to achieve efficiency in implementing actions and achieving the Acceleration of the Mangrove and Peat Rehabilitation in 2024.
