Altingia Fragrans Forestry Foundation is a non profit organization that was initiated by an Indonesian Forestry Expert. The foundation was established by a number of forestry practitioners those are working on environmental aspect and education with the main aim is to play role actively through stakeholder capacity building in the sustainable natural resources management and climate change in Indonesia.
The Altingia Fragrans Forestry Foundation establishment is based on the phylosophy and developed Vision that the natural resources should be utilized as much as possible for the welfare of the people through wise use of natural capital and conservation of environment so that natural resources have always play dual roles, as a capital growth (resources based economy) and as a life support system.
Mission of Altingia Fragrans Forestry Foundation (AF3) is to collaborate with various local, national and international partners to share knowledge for the policy development and forest landscape management in tropical wetland area and dry land includes sustainable wetland area. AF3 provides HUB for networking and collaboration to catalyze the development and evaluation of new ideas, process and technology in forest landscape.
